Having been on various fundraising committees, we are well aware of the time and effort that can go into raising funds for your school or charity.  That’s why, when we devised our fundraising scheme we tried to make it as simple, straightforward and rewarding as we could. 

But you don’t just have to take our word for great it is!  We thought we’d introduce you to some of our most hard working fundraisers, so you can see for yourself how the scheme works in practice. 

First in the spotlight is:

 Laura MacGill (otherwise known as Mummyhaggis!)

Laura and the Aberdeen City and Shire NCT team

Mum of 3, Laura MacGill from Aberdeen has been successfully fundraising with Organised Mum for three years for the Aberdeen City and Shire branch of the NCT (National Childbirth Trust).

So far this year, they have raised £350 and counting!

Laura says: “I’ve been a customer of Organised Mum since the company’s early days although it was another member of our NCT group who initially suggested fundraising with them and then handed over to me.

“We sell the products in a variety of ways including traditional fundraisers such as coffee mornings and get-togethers. This year, however, we have used our Yahoo group and Facebook page to contact group members, friends and family and link to the OM website.

“The money we raise helps to support pregnant and new parents in our area as well as help train new antenatal teachers, breastfeeding counsellors and postnatal leaders for the branch.

“If I had to sum up the scheme, I’d say that Organised Mum is one of the most generous fundraisers I’ve come across, with top quality products and excellent support and communication from OM HQ. I’m not sure how it could be easier!”
